Job Overview


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. This role requires excellent team management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities



Supervise kitchen staff and ensure all team members are trained in food safety and hygiene practices. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Develop and implement new recipes, menus, and culinary concepts that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability. Ensure the kitchen is organised, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Assist in managing kitchen budgets, controlling costs while maintaining quality standards.

Skills



Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for cooking and creativity in menu development. Ability to supervise and manage a team effectively, fostering a positive working environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 33 per week
