Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Assist in developing and designing innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Manage food preparation processes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Assist in cost control measures to optimise kitchen efficiency without compromising quality.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management. Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. A passion for cooking and an eagerness to stay updated on culinary trends.

Pay: From 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
