Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and kitchen management, with the ability to lead and inspire a team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that delight our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Develop and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Stay updated on industry trends to continually enhance the dining experience.

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a kitchen environment. Strong background in food production and preparation techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals. Culinary experience with a passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.50-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
