We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and culinary arts, with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards, and leading a team of kitchen staff to create delicious and visually appealing dishes.

Duties



Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures. Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.
