Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team in creating exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management, with a passion for culinary excellence. This role requires leadership skills to manage a diverse team, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety while fostering a collaborative and innovative kitchen environment.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Develop and execute creative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. Coordinate catering services for events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of food. Maintain effective communication with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service. Monitor food preparation processes to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Conduct regular performance evaluations of kitchen staff, fostering professional development.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry. Strong background in fine dining, banquet experience, or restaurant management preferred. Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership within a fast-paced kitchen environment. Knowledge of food handling techniques, safety regulations, and best practices in food service management. Experience in menu planning, inventory management, and catering services is highly desirable. Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creativity in food preparation and presentation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure. Exceptional communication skills to interact with team members and guests professionally. Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred but not mandatory.
