Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and menu specifications. Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings that reflect current trends. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Ensure proper food storage practices are followed to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage. Engage with guests to receive feedback on their dining experience and make necessary adjustments.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management and leadership. Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent cooking skills with a flair for creativity in dish presentation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with staff and guests alike.
