We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chef to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent service within our food service operations, ensuring that all guests receive high-quality food and hospitality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and service.
Duties
Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and portion control guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces.
Assist with catering events, ensuring that all food is presented attractively and served efficiently.
Monitor food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak service times.
Participate in training sessions related to food preparation, safety standards, and hospitality skills.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a food service environment such as restaurants or catering is essential.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is also preferred but not essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being capable of taking initiative when required.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
A willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, or catering services will be advantageous.
