We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and kitchen management, demonstrating exceptional culinary skills and a commitment to food safety. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring a high standard of hospitality in our establishment.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Maintain high standards of presentation for all dishes served
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Passion for culinary arts and commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences
