Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster teamwork and collaboration. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations. Assist in menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example. Passion for food preparation and an understanding of various cuisines. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A culinary degree or relevant qualification is preferred but not essential.
