Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing kitchen operations, and leading a team of kitchen staff to ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Ensure efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock levels. Handle any customer feedback or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar environment is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and food safety standards. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-15.00 per hour
