Job Overview


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, along with exceptional leadership skills. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that meet our high standards of quality and presentation while ensuring a safe and efficient kitchen environment. Your role will involve supervising kitchen staff, managing food safety practices, and contributing to the overall hospitality experience for our guests. You will have autonomy to create new vibrant dishes.

Responsibilities



Lead the kitchen team in food preparation and production, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices. You must hold a Level 2 in Food Hygiene as a minimum. Develop new recipes and menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to guest preferences. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Oversee kitchen operations during service hours, ensuring timely delivery of meals. Assist in resolving any issues that arise in the kitchen promptly. Manage stock control & rotation. Ordering of stock. Bringing on new suppliers.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a hospitality setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent culinary skills with creativity in menu development and presentation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and production processes. Passion for hospitality and commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00-18.17 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 48 per week
