Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Develop and implement innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and teamwork. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste to maintain cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and company policies.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for culinary arts and a desire to continually improve skills and knowledge within the field.
