We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and culinary arts, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills within a fast-paced kitchen environment. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality, while fostering a collaborative and efficient team atmosphere. We are seeking for a chef who is experienced in breakfast/lunch items.

Duties

Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring effective communication and teamwork. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to our clientele's preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor kitchen operations to optimise efficiency and reduce waste.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen management practices. Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership within a busy kitchen environment. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
