Nortons Digbeth is a live 500 capacity live music venue and bar in Birmingham. Our kitchen has a fantastic reputation for providing authentic "Full Irish" breakfasts with locally sourced and Irish ingredients and an Irish street food style menu - curry chips, spice bag fries, and hand-stretched Pizzas with an Irish twist.
We are looking for a talented and passionate chef to join our dynamic team. If you have a flair for creating delicious pizzas from scratch and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas to order, ensuring consistency and quality.
Stretch and prepare pizza dough from scratch.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food hygiene standards.
Manage inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Minimum of Food Hygiene Level 2 certification.
Proven experience working as a Pizza Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Demonstrated ability to make pizzas from scratch, including dough preparation and stretching.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
