The restaurant mainly steakhouse and Romanian cuisine.
Duties
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operation.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
Manage team dynamics, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, following food safety regulations.
Collaborate with management on menu development and seasonal offerings.
Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen protocols.
Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed to maintain stock.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
Skills
Proven supervising experience in a culinary setting.
Strong background in food production and preparation techniques.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
Proficient cooking skills with experience in various cuisines.
Extensive kitchen experience, ideally within a restaurant environment.
Culinary experience that demonstrates creativity and attention to detail.
Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service excellence.
Strong leadership abilities to guide the team towards achieving common goals.
Understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
