We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, alongside a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality. This role requires leadership skills to supervise kitchen staff, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection and served promptly in a vibrant restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Ensure the quality of dishes before they reach the dining area, maintaining presentation standards.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Assist in the planning and execution of special events or catering services as required.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food safety practices, and hospitality standards.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen staff.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not essential if experience is substantial.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
