Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating delightful dining experiences while leading and supervising kitchen staff to ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as necessary. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock for food production. Maintain a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among kitchen staff. Stay updated on culinary trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance menu offerings.

Skills



Proven experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team effectively. Strong background in food production with extensive culinary experience. Excellent cooking skills with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.50-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 33 per week
