We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high performance. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, following all health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Implement and uphold food safety practices throughout all stages of food preparation. Create new menu items that reflect current culinary trends while considering customer preferences.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, ensuring proper usage and maintenance. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. Previous experience in restaurant settings is highly desirable, along with an understanding of customer service principles. A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene practices.
