We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests while working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene practices at all times. Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff as needed. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as required. Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare high-quality dishes efficiently. Leadership qualities with experience in team management preferred. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. A passion for food production and culinary arts is essential.
