Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu specifications.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food production meets quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
Supervise and train kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and safety practices.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Implement cost control measures to minimise waste while maintaining quality.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen setting.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Previous experience in supervising or managing a team is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
