Overview


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and management, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, creativity in menu planning, and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, and ensure that our guests receive an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities



Lead the kitchen team in food preparation and cooking, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. Plan and develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and performance. Manage inventory control, ensuring proper stock levels of ingredients and supplies while minimizing waste. Oversee food handling practices to comply with health and safety regulations. Coordinate catering services for special events, including banquets and private functions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety standards. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during meal periods. Monitor food production processes to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry. Strong background in fine dining, catering, or banquet service is preferred. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and shift management. Knowledge of food service management principles, including inventory management and cost control. Proficient in menu planning, food preparation techniques, and cooking methods. Familiarity with dietary department practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene practices. Pay: 15.00-15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
