808 Cafe - Chef vacancy

We are a fun and dynamic independent cafe that values great food, coffee, and a lively atmosphere. We are looking for a passionate chef to join our team and contribute to the daily operations of our kitchen.

Duties:????

Oversee the daily running of the kitchen Create and prepare sandwiches, cakes, counter food and brunch menu items Daily ordering of ingredients and supplies Work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations Manage food preparation, cooking, and presentation Develop new menu items while maintaining consistency and quality/ alongside our manager Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Collaborate with management to meet financial and customer satisfaction goals
Qualifications:

Experience working as a chef in a food service environment Strong knowledge of food production and kitchen operations Baking experience Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50 - 14.50 per hour

Expected Hours: 35 - 40 hours per week

Probation Period: 3 months

Start date: October 6th onwards
