Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills. Manage inventory and stock levels, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and available. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Create new menu items and specials that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Monitor kitchen equipment for proper functioning and arrange for repairs as necessary.

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen environment. Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff. Extensive culinary experience with a passion for hospitality. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work under pressure. Effective communication skills to liaise with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
