We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and supervising kitchen staff to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety protocols.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Assist in the development of new recipes and improve existing ones based on customer feedback.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef in a pub, restaurant or similar culinary environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
Comprehensive knowledge of food production techniques and culinary arts.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
A passion for cooking and helping others develop their culinary skills.
