Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, demonstrating expertise in various cooking techniques.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
Manage food production processes, including inventory control and menu planning.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations at all times.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Continuously innovate menu offerings based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Skills
Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen environment.
Strong culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service experiences.
