We're looking for a candidate to join our team at the Glass of Bandol and who is looking to create a special themed night/event where you, as a chef can come in and showcase your skills/talent to present food of highest quality and work with existing kitchen staff members.
The successful candidates will be working under the supervision of the supervisor ensuring the services operate well as we try to support you as much as we can. You will ensure that food safety regulations are adhered to.
The role may require you to work with our existing menu to prepare cheese dishes, ensuring the kitchen areas are clean and tidy at all times. However, we are looking for someone who is keen to bring in their ideas. We welcome freelancers/popup vendors and would encourage you to contact us directly so we can hear your ideas.
A basic Food Hygiene Certificate or evidence of Food Hygiene awareness is essential for this role, along with knowledge of maintaining a clean, tidy, safe and hygienic environment.
Genral duties required to work in our kitchen include:
Using a knife to perform standards food preparation tasks
Ability to identify the correct boards for relative tasks
Understanding temperature control and the critical ones
Ensuring excellent customer service at all times
Make sure that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy
Assisting with waste removal and washing up
Requirements:
Food Safety knowledge
Follow safe working practices
Attend on-site training and induction
