We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a flair for creativity. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in managing kitchen operations along side our kitchen manager insuring food safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service.
Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu specifications, maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Implement and uphold food safety standards and hygiene practices throughout the kitchen.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Collaborate with management to develop new menu items that reflect modern days trends.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and in good working order.
Handle any customer feedback or complaints regarding food quality or service.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef in hospitality environment.
Supervising experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and guests
Driving licence is a plus with an incentive.
