Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation, while also ensuring that the kitchen operates efficiently. No split shifts or late nights!

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and menus. Oversee kitchen operations, including meal preparation, cooking, and plating. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and cleaned properly.

Skills & Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. A passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes that delight customers.
