Duties:
- Plan and execute menus, ensuring variety and creativity in food offerings
- Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, safety procedures, and food handling practices
- Stay updated on industry trends and new culinary techniques
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Creativity in menu planning and presentation
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and suppliers
