Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
Manage food preparation processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times
Will include some evening work as and when required plus weekend work
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting with at least 2 years experience working on a check based system.
confident in scratch cooking
Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organisational skills with the capability to multitask effectively
A relevant culinary qualification is preferred but not essential
