Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and food safety standards. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with management on menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer feedback. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently. Provide exceptional service to guests, addressing any dietary restrictions or special requests.

Requirements

Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant environment. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Previous experience in menu planning and food production is highly desirable. Culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage but not essential.
