Responsibilities
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and collaboration among team members.
Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
Oversee food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
Develop new recipes and menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Assist with special events or catering services as required.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for culinary arts.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and guests.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
