Position Overview



Lead our kitchen team to deliver top-quality, customer-focused burgers and hospitality-based offerings. You'll oversee all culinary operations, ensuring consistency, creativity, and a welcoming kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities



Menu development & execution

: design and prepare high?quality burgers, sides, and specials using fresh ingredients that reflect both creativity and customer preferences.

Kitchen leadership

Stock & cost control

: manage food ordering, inventory, waste reduction, and budget adherence .

Food safety & hygiene

: ensure full compliance with food hygiene, HACCP protocols, cleaning, and health & safety standards .

Operational excellence

: oversee kitchen scheduling, equipment maintenance, and closing/opening procedures.

Customer experience

: maintain product quality, presentation, and timely service aligned with brand standards.

Business performance

: support profit goals through menu analysis, vendor negotiation, and portion control.

Essential Requirements



Hospitality/Chef background

: Proven experience (ideally 3-5 years) as Head Chef, Sous Chef, or similar in a hospitality-focused or burger-focused venue

Technical skills

: Expertise in burger preparation, hot and cold food techniques, recipe consistency.

Certifications

: Food Hygiene Level 2 (or equivalent City & Guilds/NVQ), plus HACCP knowledge

Leadership & communication

: Strong team-building, mentoring, and interpersonal skills .

Financial acumen

: Skilled at menu costing, stock management, and controlling food GP

Resilience & organization

: Ability to thrive in fast-paced, busy weekend periods and manage multiple priorities

Work Schedule
