Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with the ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking in the kitchen. Develop and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction. Train new kitchen staff in food production techniques and restaurant protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and kitchen equipment. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred but not essential.

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
