Duties
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality and presentation standards.
Implement and uphold food safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience in a culinary leadership role, preferably as a Chef Manager or similar position.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Proficiency in culinary techniques with a passion for high-quality food production.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
