We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a keen understanding of hospitality and restaurant operations. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. This role requires leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Must be able to work till 11pm due to the nature of the business
Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Monitor food presentation to ensure it meets the restaurant's quality standards.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and food production processes.
Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive working environment.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of cooking and presentation.
