Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Manage food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Develop and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food production techniques, kitchen management, and food safety practices. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes. Experience in menu planning and cost control is advantageous. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 33 per week

12 hour shift Day shift Every weekend Monday to Friday
