We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our Kitchen team. Duties

Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring quality and presentation meet the restaurant's standards. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and portion controls. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their culinary skills. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Implement and enforce food safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety protocols. Maintain an organised kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.

Skills

Proven experience in a culinary role with strong food production knowledge. Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating innovative dishes. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills. A background in hospitality is advantageous, enhancing customer service experiences. Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
