As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, and leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Oversee food production processes, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Develop and create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation skills. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain kitchen operations. Ensure the kitchen is well-organised, clean, and equipped for efficient service.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques. Experience in team management and leadership within a kitchen environment. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to effectively lead the kitchen team and collaborate with other departments. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
