We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. You will play a vital role in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu and customer preferences
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices
Serve meals in an appealing manner, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal preparation
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
A passion for culinary arts and a desire to continually improve skills
