Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Plan and create innovative menus that reflect current food trends while meeting customer preferences. Oversee food production processes to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to health and safety regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and presentation standards. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals during peak service times while maintaining high standards of hygiene.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, menu planning, and kitchen management. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in both cooking and presentation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure. A passion for cooking with an understanding of various cuisines and dietary requirements.
