We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our Head Chef in a brand new Kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a flair for creativity in the kitchen. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This position is for any level of Chef providing you know your way around a kitchen and work well during busy periods.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
Work alongside the Head Chef, to ensure his dishes are created to a high standard.
Help to manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
Work alongside the Head Chef to create new menu items and specials that reflect current culinary trends.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Follow food safety protocols to ensure compliance with local regulations.
Skills
Proven experience as a cook or Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation skills.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Training can be provided.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Passion for cooking.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when needed.
