We are seeking a passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production, with the ability to support and inspire a team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for supporting the manager creating exceptional dishes that reflect our commitment to quality and hospitality. This role requires creativity, culinary expertise, and excellent leadership skills to ensure a smooth operation within the kitchen.
Responsibilities
Be involved in all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen.
Develop and design innovative menus that meet customer preferences and dietary requirements.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food quality and safety.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain consistency across dishes.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques, culinary methods, and kitchen equipment.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new recipes.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
