a food lover,

someone with

a passion for supporting children's enthusiasm about food

,

from growing a variety of fruit and vegetables

in our allotments, to

preparing, cooking and enjoying exciting recipes

both in the classroom, on the campfire or in our pizza oven.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the right person to provide

healthy, homemade, cooked from scratch and nutritious food

for our children as part of a great Kitchen team. Join our team to develop

at Kingwood Children across our stunning locations with lots of opportunity for development. Join our team of five chefs who all bring their unique knowledge and culinary skills. In our Kitchens there are no big egos, just a fun and friendly bunch who love creating adventurous menus for all our Kingwood children.

Do you have the following qualities?

To be creative in offering innovative opportunities for children to learn about food and cooking. A love of good, seasonal, wholesome food and flavours. Work closely with the Catering Manager / Head chef. Can adhere to strict dietary requirements, providing alternative meals where necessary. Be mindful of stock: food supplies, consumables, cleaning products and kitchen equipment. Store and cook food products in compliance with Food Safety legislation. Maintain sanitation and hygiene standards in compliance with Food Safety legislation. A desire to further your own development, and seeking out opportunities to learn new skills.
