Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring all team members are trained in food preparation and safety standards. Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and food production. Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen to comply with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Implement new cooking techniques and menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Proven supervisory experience within a kitchen environment. Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals. In-depth knowledge of culinary practices, including food safety regulations. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Exceptional leadership qualities with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
