Responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with menu specifications.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal specials.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Assist in creating a positive dining experience for guests through exceptional food presentation and flavour.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques, culinary arts, and food safety practices.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
