In this role you will... have excellent presentation, communication, and management skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food and service and possess bags of enthusiasm. Working within our Hotel, you will be involved in a great kitchen environment and facilities. This role will play an active part in developing menus and serving great food at breakfast & dinner services, with full knowledge & skills of health and safety in the kitchen environment As well as having excellent presentation, communication and supervisory skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food and service and possess bags of enthusiasm.
Responsibilities:
Be up to date with current food trends
Have a real passion for food and customer service
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Be able to work within set budgets
Able to run the kitchen
possess all current food certificates
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving kitchen efficiency and profitability.
Handle special dietary requests and accommodate guests with food allergies or restrictions.
Maintain a positive and professional work environment, fostering teamwork and cooperation among kitchen staff.
