Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in breakfast, brunch and, a keen eye for presentation, and excellent organisational skills. The Chef will ensure that all kitchen operations align with company standards, cleanliness protocols, and digital checklists.

Key Responsibilities:

Service & Food Preparation:

Lead the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and efficiency. Develop and contribute to menu ideas while maintaining brand consistency. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards, meeting presentation and taste expectations.
Kitchen Operations & Compliance:

Adhere to and enforce all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. Follow and complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules using digital checklists. Ensure stock rotation and waste management processes are in place and followed. Use company apps and digital systems for checklists, temperature logging, and compliance tracking.
Leadership & Team Collaboration:

Assist in supervising and mentoring junior kitchen staff. Work closely with the management team to maintain smooth kitchen operations. Communicate effectively with front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless service. Support front of house with stock / restocking of baked and prepared goods. Liaise with front of house when launching new dishes and ensure the team are all aware of product including all allergens Check through and read weekly events summary. Also read all function sheets that involve you and your teams, while working towards the targets within.
General Duties:

Maintain a clean, organised, and professional kitchen environment at all times. Monitor and manage food stock levels, placing orders as necessary. Follow company policies, including uniform standards and workplace conduct. Uphold brand standards and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Commis / Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a brunch-focused and/or Mexican-focused kitchen. Strong knowledge of breakfast and brunch or/and Mexican cuisine. Experience with event catering and canape preparation. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in using digital checklists, compliance apps, and stock management systems. Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain). Flexible to work weekends, early mornings, evenings and travel to other sites as needed.
