Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with the ability to lead and manage a kitchen effectively. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hospitality are maintained. This role requires creativity, leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of kitchen operations.

Duties



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices. Manage food production processes, including portion control and waste management. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.

Skills



Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management within a kitchen setting. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication skills for supervising staff and collaborating with other departments. Creative mindset for menu development and adapting recipes to meet customer needs. Experience in supervising food production processes efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.95-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
