Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage food production processes. Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and meet the restaurant's quality standards.

Skills

Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent cooking skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Creativity in menu development and presentation of dishes. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and front-of-house staff. Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable, along with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
